Crowd gathered in deep red light

Founded in 2023

We exist to finish the work.

We are 64 operators, engineers and designers building agents that carry real work across real tools, with people in control.

// 64 people, one job

(01)

From the founders

The answer is the easy part.
The work comes next.

Two people looking over a city from a dark room

Mara Lind, Theo Rask and Ines Okafor

Founders of Falak

In 2022 the three of us were running operations at different companies and kept seeing the same thing. AI tools could write a perfect reply, then leave a person to process the refund, update the ledger and close the ticket.

Falak is what we wished we had: agents that take a task all the way to done, with clear rules about when to ask a person and a record of every step.

(02)

Why we exist

Work used to stop at the answer.

We built Falak to move the finish line, from a suggestion to a verified outcome.

Our story

Four years, eight turning points.

The short version of how one refund workflow became a platform.

Three operators quit their jobs

Mara, Theo and Ines spend a winter inside a claims team, doing the work by hand.

Jun 2026

Agents run with people, at scale

Most runs now finish without review, and every one can be traced.

Principles

Six rules we refuse to bend.

They decide what we ship, what we skip and who we hire.

They decide what we ship, what we skip and who we hire.

(01)

Finish the work

We measure tasks closed, not prompts answered. If a step is left undone, we count it as undone.

(02)

Earn every bit of autonomy

Agents start supervised and gain freedom through evidence, never through a setting.

(03)

Stay accountable

Every action has a record, an owner and a way back. Nothing runs where nobody can see it.

(04)

Ship small, ship often

We release in short cycles, learn from real runs and let customers shape what comes next.

(05)

Keep people in the loop

Automation should raise the bar for human judgment, not remove it from the room.

Write it down

Good systems explain themselves. We document decisions so others can challenge them.

Culture

How a week feels here.

Small rituals that keep a fast team honest, curious and kind to each other.

Friday demos

Everyone shows something real, finished or not. The best questions win.

Support weeks

New joiners spend their first week answering customer tickets.

Written first

Decisions start as documents, so nobody needs to be in the room.

Quiet mornings

No meetings before noon. Deep work comes before status updates.
